The Benefits of Procrastination
I should be working on CS, instead I’ve revamped the blog from its formerly garish state and will make it a point to actually post to it, if for no other reason than to record my own musings and share them with any and all that are interested.
I’ll also be using this to chronicle my travels, which hopefully will include working at Oxford University this summer, but that I will find out in a few days.
The weather was quite gorgeous today and it pained me not to be able to go out for a run, such is my schedule this semester.
The DCA townhall for Glee Club was quite good although it took up more of my time than I would have wanted…I’m a sucker for a good discussion as usual.

These town halls are getting increasing ridiculous as conservative elements continue to feed their constituents total garbage. At least i hope this woman didn’t come up with this herself. Honestly this kind of rhetoric is troubling not merely because of its falsehood, but mostly because of its sheer gall and hatred.
As far as I’m concerned Senator Frank had the correct response, clearly this woman is not interested in constructive dialog. Frank’s reversion to his ethnic heritage is absolutely appropriate and hilarious.
He had the unfortunate capacity that many men have, especially Russians, for seeing and believing in the possibility of goodness and truth, yet seeing the evil and falsehood in life too clearly to be capable of taking any serious part in it.
